Introducing Chic Bags by Jess LC

If you do not already know, I am a huge fan of Jess LC. I have yet to acquire anything from her jewelry collection, but it is on my list of things to do. But, now I have to add something else to my list, and that is to buy a Jess LC bag! Yes, Jess now sells bags, too! She just recently decided to be even more brave and spectacular by branching out from just jewelry to chic new bags. Because Jess LC now sells jewelry AND bags, the company is redefining itself as a lifestyle company. The first bag collection, the Lake Shore collection, is absolutely gorgeous and makes me excited for what will be released in the future!

Some of the bags have already been sold out, but you are able to pre-order for the next delivery due to ship out on May 31. Click here to take a peek at the whole collection!

And, Jess is still selling her fabulous jewelry, too. I hope she never stops designing jewelry, as I am in love with several of her collections already. Here are a few of my favorites. Feel free to click on the image to take you to more information about each item.

Did I mention that I love Jess LC?

Talk About Patience and Persistence!

While vegging out in front of the tv last night, Mr. M and I saw the most incredible creation ever. And it was made out of toothpicks! It is a replica of San Francisco landmarks that took 35  years to create. Scott Weaver created 'Rolling Through the Bay' with roughly 100,000 toothpicks. Check out the video below to see this art in action!

Just imagine what we all could accomplish if we had that kind of patience and persistence!

I'm Still Here

Hello there. Remember me? I don't blog much. It's pretty sporadic. And I promised you stuff, but still haven't posted anything. Here's why...

  1. I have been collecting outfit photos. I know I do not want to post on a daily basis, so I am trying to figure out a way to share them at least once a week. But, I have stalled on what I want to call the outfit feature. I am going for something witty, but I think I have been lacking in the wit department lately. Be patient, outfits are coming!
  2. I have a few more home-related posts to share. What has been the hold-up? I'm lazy. And when I have good light to take the photos I want, I am usually off doing other things with Mr. M. Excuses, excuses... More home posts are coming!
  3. I am in the stages of contemplating a new life decision. It isn't anything super huge or drastic, but it may just be something that will be a great outlet for me. If I make a decision to follow through, you will be sure to know about it!

I'll leave you with this for now. It is by-far one of my favorite recipes. It may not be that suitable for the warmer weather, but that won't stop me from making it any time of the year! Spicy Sweet Potato Chili! You must make this! And if you do, you must share with me how much you enjoyed it. And did I mention it is incredibly easy to make?

Fashion Feature Coming Soon

Although it seems I do not blog nearly enough, there is one thing I do enjoy about blogging. That is the versatility that comes with having a blog and being able to write about whatever you want. Because this blog is a smattering of different topics, I thought it might be fun to add my own fashion feature. I really enjoy following fashion bloggers and finding inspiration through them. So for the sake of hopefully inspiring you, and to help me inspire myself with my own closet, I have decided to start my own fashion feature. I still do not know what I will call it, or the frequency at which I will post it, but it will be on this blog soon.

In the meantime, check out some of my favorite fashion bloggers.
